Media trailer!
So me and my two friends Beth and Chloe are in the same Media class and we had to make up a Sci-fi film and produce a teaser trailer for it, we had many ideas and then thought of an idea of having the main character being someone who is different from everyone else. We first thought to do someone who has magical abilities but after we got half way through filming we ended up changing the idea a bit and Beth thought of the idea of the main character being a robot of some sort.
All three of us have never really been good at filming and putting together videos, but in the end the final outcome came out fairly good, well that's what we think.
We actually had many difficulties while making this trailer one of them being the fact that none of us really knew how to use a mac, so we had to figure out how to use it while trying to edit the trailer. The editing had to definitely be the hardest part of the whole putting it together process. Altogether we spent about 2 hours editing it and in the end still forgot to put credits and a title on it.
So here is Human:
This is the finished trailer that we were proud of as our camera and editing skills were terrible, I know. But out of what we thought we could achieve this is definitely above the expected. The camera work was done by Me, Beth, Chloe and had a little help from Henry. The voice over was done by Beth, who was really proud of herself as she did it in one take. Editing was done mostly by Me with Beth doing a bit and we had a little help from our Media teacher and the story was made by Beth.
Hope you liked it as like I have said a few times now we are quite proud of ourselves for what we have achieved, and we truthfully think that this deserves an Oscar.
Random and unneeded fact of the week:
I finally know how to use a mac after 2 hours of trying to edit the trailer.
