Book review: Girl online!

So I got Girl online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella) who is a YouTuber for those who may not know her, as a Christmas present from my friend Jess, than again we aren't really friends as she hates me so we are more like people who socialise with each other when at school. Anyway I got it on December 16th and opened it early because i'm like that. So the day I received it I started reading it and literally when I started reading it I didn't want to put it down I got so caught up in it, I actually managed to finish it in less than a day. Even though it was a school night I actually stayed up all night, jump around until we see the sun, and read it, I seriously didn't want to put it down.

So for those of you who haven't read it, Girl online is a book about a girl named Penny who owns a blog and she suffers from anxiety. I'm not going to go into too much detail as you have to go and read it yourself. My favourite character is definitely the main character Penny as she has anxiety which I also suffer from and I like how she resolves her problems by posting on her blog. I also like how she keeps her blog to herself and only her best friend knows about it.

Another thing I liked about the book is that the characters seemed real enough to be actual people, I  think that's what made me want to read it more as it was like I was reading a book about an actual person and it dragged me in and made me feel what the characters were feeling. In a way the book kept me guessing, as in what was going to happen next and trying to figure out who Noah actually was. My favourite part of the book is all of it as I cant really pick out my favourite part as I enjoyed it all.

I like how the book is set out with all the content on the inside such as how all the messages are in text bubbles and then you've got all the blog posts which are set out well and you can tell the difference from them from all the other text as it is in a smaller font.

There actually isn't anything I disliked about the book, but with the ending I really want to know what happens next, so I cant wait until the second one comes out.

So altogether Girl online is actually a really good novel to read, so if you haven't read it I really suggest that you should go and give it a read. The age I would recommend this book to are people in the teen years. If you are a fan of romance books i'm sure you would defiantly like this.

I would give Girl online by Zoe Sugg a 9.5/10 as it really deserves it especially as its Zoe's first novel.
Go and buy the book here at Amazon, Waterstones, Whsmith, or  Barnes and noble

So questions of the day:
Have you read Girl online?
What rating would you give the book?
How long did it take you to read it?
